The Milwaukee Road's Dubuque & Illinois Division

The hard cover book of over 130 pages covers the history of this once important Division and Art Danz reminisces of his service on the line between 1971 and his last trip in 1996. The book has extensive photos of what was in place and what remains. Most of the familiar sites are gone or diminished since the Canadian Pacific took over the lines of the Division.  But the once important Division for the Milwaukee continues on a much smaller and less active way and only the memories presented in this book show its former significance and how busy the lines were at one time..
